GroundedVote publishes anonymized, aggregate data about how voters' stated preferences compare with their measured alignment. Researchers and journalists can use it freely with attribution.
What we publish
- Before/after gap rates — of voters who named a pick before the quiz, the share whose answers aligned with someone else.
- Issue salience by geography — which issues voters in each state weight most.
- Alignment strength — mean top-match scores by geography and period.
Privacy rules, enforced in code
- Data comes only from account holders who checked the research opt-in at signup. The default is out.
- Any cohort under 50 is withheld entirely.
- Geography stops at the state level. Names, emails, and addresses never enter the pipeline.
- Only sums and rates leave the database — individual rows have no export path.

No geography has reached the minimum reporting cohort of 50 opted-in participants this period. Datasets appear here automatically as participation grows — the platform launched for the 2026 cycle and this page tells the truth about sample sizes.

Suppressed cohorts return { "suppressed": true } with no counts. Weekly snapshots preserve each period for longitudinal work.
